Passed away on September 13, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener, ON at the age of 90.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 51 years, Gertrude Snyder (2007).
Loving father of Peter (Melissa), Graham (Sherry), Cindy (Nick), Tom (Darlene), Carolyn (Ron), Betty-Ann (Ralph).
Dear grandfather of Joseph, Lauren (Greg), Jesse, Tosha (Matt), Cody (Debbie), Whitney (Robbie), Stephanie (Jake), Nicole, Charlotte (Adam), John, Jennifer (Calvin), Scott (Andra), Julie (Trevor), Adam (Kara), Rebecca (Cam), Sam.
Cherished great-grandfather of Moira, Harrison, Brielle, Hudson, Hendrik, Hallie, Emersyn, Harper, Paige, William.
Will be greatly missed by his brother Carl (Kathleen), sister-in-law Aileen, many nieces and nephews, cousins and his church family.
Also predeceased by his parents Joseph & Reta, brother William, niece Lisa.

Robert thoroughly enjoyed life as it was given to him, every day was truly a gift. He eagerly worked the land and forests that God created every day he possibly could.
Robert’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 19th, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Visitation will continue from 10:00 AM- 10:45 AM at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, 131 Flaxmill Drive, Conestogo on Friday, September 20th, 2024 with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment at St. Matthew’s Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
