Surrounded by her family, Lillian passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at PeopleCare AR Goudie at the age of 96.
Beloved wife of the late Gene (1985).
Predeceased by first two children, Karen (1951) and William (1953). Loving mother of Wendy Hannenberg (Alfred), Donna Tiffin (Bob), Dianne Pletz, John, Eugene (Lori), Lisa Lott and Matt.
Cherished grandmother of William, Steven (late Jenn – 2022) (Sierra), Christina McNally (Matt), Nicole Scales (Brendan), Alex (Hillary), Matthew (Michelle), Michael (Natalie), Tyler (Sarah), Brianna, Jacob (Liv), Sara (Brad), Cameron (Tayler), Gavin (Becca) and Elizabeth and great-grandmother to Benjamin, Aiden, Charlotte, Emilia, Isla, Colton and Nolan. Lillian was the last member of her Williamson family.
Lillian was a volunteer for Canadian Food for Children and was a member of St. Anne’s RC church. She was a foster mother for many while raising her own 7 children. Her hobbies were baking, knitting, sewing, quilting and gardening.

Lillian’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2024 and 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2024. Her Funeral will take place in the chapel on Monday, May 6, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. If you are unable to attend in person, please join the live-stream at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming. Interment St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Macton at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Grand River Hospital Foundation – Cancer Centre, Alzheimer’s Society or Canadian Food for Children would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
