Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Friday October 13, 2023, at the age of 39 years.
Josh was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He moved to Ontario where he worked in construction, mainly in carpentry. He loved hockey and enjoyed being outdoors, spending his time with his family and friends. He especially loved music and playing guitar. Not only was Josh famous for his humor and his wit, he loved helping people in any way he could.
Beloved son of Roxanne Somerville-Brideau (Roger) of Fredericton, NB and the late Clarence Guitar (2013).
Loving Brother of Jeremy (Kate) of Waasis, NB. Cherished Uncle of Colin, Jack and Noah. He will lovingly be remembered by his girlfriend Tori Collins and her son Vinh and by his best friends, Scott Drost and Nik Reimer. He will be sadly missed by many uncles, aunts, cousins, co-workers, neighbors and friends (in Ontario and in New Brunswick).
Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in his hometown of New Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Hospice Waterloo Region as expressions of sympathy.
