Lazauskas, Ferdinand “Ferdie”
After celebrating his 100th birthday in January, Ferdinand passed peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was born in Vilnius, Lithuania on January 9, 1924. Beloved husband of the late Olga Lazauskas (2005). Loving father of Ruth Hardie and her husband Dave of Bruny Island, Australia, Rita and her husband Rev. Dr. Karl Czaszar of New Maryland, New Brunswick, and Alan Lazauskas and his wife Wendy of Kelowna, British Columbia. Sadly missed by grandchildren Erin Hardy, David and Paul Czaszar, Ryan Lazauskas, Chelsea Pickett, Breanna Traynor, Jadon Pickett and great-grandfather of Colin, Gillian and Remy Pickett. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Johanna Endrulat. Uncle to her children Christine, Harry (Cathy with children Hayley and Harrison), and Rick. Predeceased by parents Zigmas and Berta Lazauskas.
Ferdie’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30-3:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467.
