Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 71 years.
Dan was born in Kitchener, Ontario, on August 29, 1952. Over the years, he enjoyed following football season, playing cards and pool with his family and many friends. Most of all he enjoyed time with his family. He treasured every moment spent with his children and grandchildren.
Loving father of Danny (Kaylin), Amanda (Jaymie) and Angela (Cameron). Cherished Papa of Lauren, Ally, Kamilla, Roman, Ellie, Athena and Georgia. Dear brother of Ned (Lisa), Violet (Alex), Dennis (Paula), Doug (Nathalie), and Peter.
Predeceased by his father Edward Halley, mother Violet Rossiter (Halley, nee Dubrick) and step-father Alphonsus Rossiter, and by his brother Gary and sister Sandra.
Cremation will take place. A private Celebration of Life will be held by family.
Donations may be made to the Ontario Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
