Passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the age of 64.
Predeceased by parents, Douglas (1972) and Elsie (Herb) Waechter (formerly Bartlett, nee Pomper) (2015).
Dear brother of Mary Lynn (Greg Brazier) and Jason (Michelle) and step-brother of Shirley (Bill), Marjorie (late Herb), Rosemary and Elizabeth, Paul (Janice), Donny (Sherrie), Richard and the late Jim (Marilyn).
Cherished uncle of Justin, Anne and James.
Daniel’s family will receive relatives and friends from 6-8 p.m. (vigil prayers at 6:30 p.m.) on Monday, October 9, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 56 Duke St W, Kitchener. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Waterloo followed by a reception at the Columbus Conference Centre, 145 Dearborn Place, Waterloo. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed via www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming and recording of the service will be available on the funeral home website for 30 days following the service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary’s RC Church or the Canadian Mental Health Association – Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
