Surrounded by loving family at his bedside, Colin passed away peacefully on October 12, 2023, at the age of 55, after a courageous battle with cancer. He brought joy to our lives with his humor, dedication, and loving personality.
Colin will be profoundly missed by his mother, Marilyn, brother, Darryl (Peg), nieces Colleen Wanner (Michael), and Alanna Nicholson, and nephew, John Nicholson.
Predeceased by his father, John Nicholson (1985).
Colin had many aunts and uncles who gave him love and support over the years Derek, Barbara (2009) (Arnold), Brian, Phyllis, Bill (Barb), Geoff (Jan), and Stephen (Sandi) Nicholson, and Murray (Anne) Hammond.
Colin’s family will receive relatives and friends from 3:00 p.m.- 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519 749-8467. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. with reception to follow.
If desired, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Forest Hill United Church, or the Canadian Red Cross.
