Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the age of 59.
Beloved husband of 29 wonderful years to Donna (nee Hillier) Boyd.
Dear Brother of Scott (Gen) Boyd and Heather Boyd and Brother-in-law of Gail Olsen and Brenda Geobel.
He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, 5 great nieces and his cherished friends.
Predeceased by his parents Jim and Gail Boyd, his mother-in-law Carole Hillier and grandmother-in-law Gladys Snider, his brother-in-law Ron Hosler and his four legged buddy, Shadow.
A special thank you to the first responders that helped Al’s family during a difficult time.
Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A private family service will be held to celebrate Al’s life. A celebration of life service will follow at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the United Way Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
