HUDSON, William Dowdall
September 27, 1935 – August 6, 2024
Dowdall, a resident of Kingston and retired Bell Canada employee, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the age of 88. Born in Kinburn, the son of the late Henry and Loretta (Laughlin) Hudson. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Stilwell) for 52 years, loving mother of Laurie (Tom) Mawlam and Peter (Christine) Hudson. Cherished grandfather to Chloe (Michael), Sydney (Matthew), Cole (Megan), Tommy, and Michael (Murranda). Will be dearly missed by brothers David (Ellie) and Danny (Betty) and many other family and friends. A special thanks to all the staff at Aspira Royale Place Retirement Living for their tender care and support.
Visitation will be at 10:00 -10:50 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston, Ontario with reception following. For those unable to attend in person, livestreaming is available by CLICKING HERE. Inurnment will take place privately at a later time. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Autism Canada either online (www.autismcanada.org ), by mail or at the funeral home.
