With deep sadness, Margo’s family announces her passing on Thursday September 12th at Trillium Ridge Retirement Living.
Loving wife of David, daughter of the late Margaret and Charles Thom of Kingston, sister of the late William (Johanna) and David (Bonnie) Thom, mother of Robert (Tomoko), Christopher (Lisa), and Jock (Jessica), proud grandmother to Samuel and Katherine. Margo was a Kingstonian all her life and a nurse for many years at Kingston General Hospital. Margo enjoyed close friendships and hosting wonderful gatherings. She will be missed by all.
Cremation at the James Reid Funeral Home crematorium will be followed by a memorial service in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., on Sunday September 29th, at 1:30 PM. Reverend Andy Chisholm will officiate. A reception and a time for sharing will follow in the reception centre. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations to UHKF (Hospice Kingston – Building Fund) or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
