Kirkby, John Jack

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Jack Kirkby on December 17, 2023, in his 81st year. Together for over 50 years, devoted husband of Pamela (nee Millward). He will be missed by his children Matthew (Frank) and Amy.
John was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mabel (Saul) Kirkby, brothers Frankie and Ken, and sister, Irene. He is survived by his sister, Marjorie Bush.
John was born in Chesterville, Ontario, before moving to Kingston. He worked at Alcan (later Novelis) for his entire career.
He was especially proud of his annual vegetable garden and his wonderful skills at making preserves.
There will be no funeral service.
