David Wayne McCue Obituary
Wayne David McCue passed away peacefully at KGH at the age of 83 after a 15-year battle with Cancer. Wayne lived his entire life in Kingston, the son of Geraldine Anne McCue who was also born in Kingston in 1916 and passed away in 2010.
Wayne is survived by his beloved wife and his “rock” for 58 years, Carol (nee Lavallee). Wayne also leaves his loving daughter Angela Daicar (Tony) and was a very proud “Papa” to his two grandchildren Chloe and Jack.
Wayne is remembered by his brothers-in-law; Leo Lavallee (Debbie), the late Ronald Lavallee (Pat) and the late Garry Lavallee (Tish). Wayne is also remembered by his sisters-in-law Susie LaBranche (Wayne) and Elaine Lowe (Jerry). He also left several nephews and nieces who will greatly miss Uncle Wayne.
Wayne worked at DuPont for 33 years as an instructor where he had many friends and his hilarious stories about them, and their crazy nicknames always had us laughing!
In lieu of flowers we ask for donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Wayne would be greatly appreciated. As per Wayne’s request, there will not be a visitation.
