Passed away with her family by her side at the Kemptville District Hospital on March 30, 2024. Sharon/Cookie, in her 77 th year, has been reunited with her husband and best friend, the late Ed, to continue their 45 years together. Loving mother of Martin Borne (Robin) of Russell, Ontario and Tonya Johnston of Kemptville. Special Nanny to her grandchildren Katelyn (Michael), Brittany (Mitchell), Austin (Tiffany), Sydney (Ryan), Madison, Evan (Alex) and Marly and her great-grandchildren Brayden, Ryleigh, Logan, Kane, Atreus, Carter, Vaelin and Reeve. Dear daughter of the late Katherine and Henri Lacoste. Dear sister of Linda, Terry, Chris, Sue, Pat, Roy, and the late Carol/Coco, and Walter/Beano, and sister-in-law to Rick (Mitch), Kim (Bruce), Dave (Christina), Sue, Cheryl (Ken), Marie (Jack), and the late Terry (Jerry). Sharon is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry Reception Centre, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville for a Celebration of Sharon’s Life on Saturday April 6, 2024, from 1 pm to 4 pm.
A special thanks to the Kemptville District Hospital nursing staff for the wonderful care they provided our mother. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Lung Association are gratefully accepted.
