Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle of cancer with her children by her side at The William and Maureen Shenkman Palliative Care Unit at Bruyere St. Vincent Hospital in Ottawa on Sunday March 3, Pat Dobosz at the age of 76, beloved wife of Peter Dobosz for 33 years. Loving mother of Shawn William, (Kimberly Jean) Halliday of Smiths Falls and Stacey Lynn Halliday of Merrickville. Loving and Generous Nanny to Emily Shawna, William Patrick and Ethan Doyle. Dear daughter of the late Kathleen and William Doyle. Eldest sister of Margaret and Maureen. Also survived by nieces Joanne, Shannon and nephew Michael. A proud Kemptville resident, Pat was a life-long volunteer. Proud to be an elected member of the Mountain and district Lions Club as well as an active board member for the House of Lazarus. With her love of knitting, she donated countless winter hats over the years. Pat was dedicated to her job at Parmalat/Lactalis HR department for 24 years until her retirement in 2017. Many thanks for all the love and support from all of her life-long friends and neighbours on Oxford Street West in Kemptville. A very special thank you to all of the staff at the Kemptville Hospital and the incredible, compassionate Doctors and Nurses at the Shenkman Palliative Unit. A Memorial Service will be held at St James Anglican Church at a later date. Donations to House of Lazarus gratefully accepted.
