Passed away peacefully at Kemptville District Hospital on October 14, 2023. Doreen Taylor-Alexander, in her 96th year, beloved wife and best friend of the late Rae Saunders Taylor and Gay Hetherington Alexander. Loving mother of Nancy Lee Albers (Jim) and Mary Ellen Taylor (Barry) and the late Janet Lynn. Dear daughter of The Late William and Ola Hutt. Pre-deceased by brothers Francis Hutt (Elaine), Norbert Hutt (Norma) and Donald Hutt (Nettie) and sister-in-law Rotha Irven (Emerson). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Doreen retired from Kemptville District Hospital in 1991. Previously, she had held positions in both Winchester and Bowmanville. Her greatest joy, however, was time spent with family and friends.
Special thanks to the staff of Kemptville District Hospital for their kindness and compassion during Doreen’ s last illness.
