It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Jennifer, who passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the age of 76. Devoted wife to Trevor Martin, whom she has been lovingly married to for 55 years. Cherished mother to Jeff (Jennifer) Martin of Whitby and Andi Martin of Toronto. Proud grandmother to Benjamin and Livi. Forever in the hearts of her brother Michael (Alice) Taylor. Always remembered by her extended family and friends across Canada and the United Kingdom. Predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Gwendolyn Taylor (nee Lonsdale) as well as her sister Pauline (Harry). Jennifer was known as a great lover of animals and found comfort in them even in her last days. Jennifer may be gone from this world; however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime. As per Jennifer’s wishes, and those of her family, a private cremation will be taking place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 9 to 10 a.m., where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on the same day at 10 a.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
