Passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, in Barrie, on Monday, July 8th, 2024, at the age of 74. Beloved wife of 35 years to Renato D’andrea. Devoted mom to John Seldon (Deena). Cherished Gramma to Kassidy, Buddy and Kelly. Survived by sisters Anne (Bruce), Ellen, her brother Steve, and brother-in-law Dave. Barb is predeceased by her parents Ruth (nee Hill) and Roy Bentley, her sister Carole, and her brother Walter. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. One of Barb’s greatest accomplishments was being chosen to be a Torch bearer for the 1988 Winter Olympics. The dedication and hard work put in was evident as she ran the Olympic torch through her hometown Richmond Hill with pride. Barb will be fondly remembered for her love to laugh, and young at heart attitude, the loss will leave a void in the lives of the ones who loved her. Visitation will be held at the Innisfil Funeral Home (7910 Yonge St., Stroud) on Monday, July 15th, from 12:00p.m. – 1:00p.m. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00p.m. with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
