HUNTER: William Harold “Bill” – passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll at the age of 86.
Beloved husband of the late Geraldine “Gerrie” Hunter who predeceased him October 17, 2016. Dear father of Janet (Bill) Deisley of Ingersoll and Judy (Jim) Somerville of Beachville. Step father of Tony & Jason Rowe both of London. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jamie, Jessica, Carson and great grandchildren Jayden and Lily. Survived by his brothers Don (Hazel) Hunter, Rick (Lou) Hunter, sisters Donna Jean Neve all of London, Linda (Robert) Keenan of Ingersoll and brother-in-law Bert Vanderwerff of London.
Predeceased by his parents Frank & Denelda (Cornell) Hunter, sisters Audrey (Peter) Chubak, Darlene Vanderwerff and brother-in-law Norm Neve.
Relatives and friends will be received in the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S. Ingersoll on Monday, June 24, 2024 from 11:30am until 1:45pm followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 2:00pm. Inurnment to follow in Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Steve & Jane, neighbours Lloyd & Carmen and Larry & Christine as well as the Palliative Care nurses and Dr. Chawla at Alexandra Hospital for all their help and care for Bill.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Sakura House or the London Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www.mcbeathdynes.ca
