Mezenberg (nee Koolen), Louisa Wilhelmina “Weezy” – Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 68.
She will be truly missed by her husband of 49 years, Cory Mezenberg, her dear sons, Ted, Darryl (Caroline), and her daughter Jennifer (Eric) Madsen. She will be forever cherished by her 5 grandchildren, Jake, Jaxson, Adelaide, Mya, and Nicholas. She is survived by her brothers, Tony (Rita), John (Charlene), Gerry (Dorothy), Jim (Annie), and her sisters, Mary Mommersteeg (late Edward), Anna Marie Leyten (late Tony), Mathea (Ron) Frannsen, and Liz (Pete) Van Dinther, and brothers-in-law, Gerry (Joan), Henry, and sisters-in-laws, Ann Wieggers (Tony), Christine Opsteen (Cor), Willie Verberne (Tony), Mary Van-Alphen (John), Helena, Margaret. Predeceased by her parents, William Koolen, and Antonia VanMerlo, brother Harry (Linda), and Dennis (Yvonne), and brothers-in-law Adrian (Elenanor), Martin, John, and Tony. Fondly remembered by many nieces, and nephews, as well as the Koolen and Mezenberg families.
Guests will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S, Ingersoll, on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A private family graveside service will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Donations in Louisa’s name can be made to the VON Sakura House, Canadian Cancer Society, Diabetes Canada, or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation. Personal condolences may be shared at www.mcbeathdynes.ca
