KAY, Margaret Elinor (nee Hayes)
Passed away peacefully on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Algonquin Grace Residential Hospice in Huntsville at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Earl Kay of 61 years. Loving mother of Blair (Teresa) Kay and Brenda (Vince) Letford. Proud grandmother of Caitlynd, Tristan and Shailey and great-grandmother of Aubree.
Margaret worked as a switchboard operator at Bell Canada in Newmarket and Huntsville. During her down time she loved to golf and camping at multiple country and bluegrass music festivals. She also enjoyed snowmobiling and motorcycle trips.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Billingsley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. Live streaming will be available for those unable to attend. The link can be located in the service section. Reception to follow the funeral service. Margaret will be laid to rest at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery in the Spring. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice.
