Our little boy, Mills Robert John O’Brien, gained his angel wings suddenly on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in his sleep. His short life brought our family nothing but pure joy. The happiest, best behaved baby who brought us nothing but happiness and completed our family. He loved to watch Miss Rachel alongside his sisters and adored the cookie monster. He liked to cuddle up and play with his cat Triggs and was in wonderment of this furry animal.
Loved always by his heart broken mother Melissa McClement and his father Matthew O’Brien. A pure bundle of joy and newfound excitement for his big sisters, Kyla and Briar at home. Mills will be missed dearly by his poppa John McClement of Hanover, Nana Julia O’Brien of Arthur and Marty Simms (Sheila Earle) of Toronto. Treasured memories in the hearts of his aunts and uncles; Krista (Matthew) Rogers and their children Sawyer and Oliver; Marty Jr. O’Brien and Marcel O’Brien and their families. Mills had the best chubby cheeks and enjoyed his time when his great aunt Jackie Robinson came to watch him. He was treated to all the cuddles and fun as if he were her own. Awaiting him with open arms in heaven is his grandma Deb McClement, now watching over everyone together.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service to honour our wee man on Friday, May 3, 2024 at 2:00 pm, at St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church. Following the service, everyone is invited to gather in the Church Hall to visit and support the family and honour Mills. Rev. Lori Pilatzke officiating. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations to assist with costs would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Please ensure cheques are made payable to Melissa McClement.
