ALVES, Antonio
It is with great sadness to announce the peaceful passing of Antonio, at St. Peter’s Hospital on September 17, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Olivia (née Da Camara). Loving father and father-in-law of the late John (Francelina), Helen and Tony (Pierina). Cherished Avo of Mike, Melissa (Tony), Jason, Ashley (Cody), Matteo and Marco. Great grandfather of Johnny, Tenley and Hayden. Antonio will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, as well as all those whose lives he touched.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Peter’s Hospital for their dedicated care and support. A special thanks to his close friend John Morris and his wife Francis.
Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East, on Thursday September 19 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church on Friday September 20 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington.
