It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father on September 10, 2024, in his 99th year. He is now reunited with his cherished wife Erika (nee Boehm), his parents Michael and Augusta Wegner, and his daughter in law Mary. Beloved father of Robert (Estelle), Alfred (Mary), and Linda Wells (Michael). Loving Opa of Krista, Bob Jr., Michael (May), Carla (Tina), Cameron, Stefanie, and great Opa of Charlotte, Adrian, Owen, and Alexander. Predeceased by his siblings Friedel, Edmund, Sigismund, and Alina. Dear brother-in-law of Eugene (Raymonde), Irma and Gudrun. Alexander will be sadly missed by his entire family and many friends from Canada, U.S.A., and Germany.
He worked and retired from Stelco after 37 years of service in the Mobile Equipment Shop.
