With profound sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Wade Schraeder at the age of 65 years. Wade passed away on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at the Blanche River Health – Kirkland Lake Site with his loving family by his side.
He was born August 6, 1958 in Pembroke, ON, to the late Bruce Schraeder and to the late Violet Reckzin. Wade was a long time Kirkland lake resident and worked at A1 Taxi as dispatch and taxi driver for many years. Wade will be remembered for his good sense of humor and his selflessness, always putting the needs of others before his own.
He is survived by his his three sons, Jason and his wife Christina Schreader, Chris Schraeder and Mathew Schraeder; by his grandchildren Autunm (Tristan), Storm, Wade, Brent, Hope, Tristan, Serenity and by his great-grandchildren Keegan, Grayson, Emilie and Amelia. Wade is also survived by his siblings Miles Schraeder, Kathy and her husband Daryl Rae, Ricky Schraeder, Kevin and his wife Sue Schraeder and by the mother of his children Lillian Schraeder (Campbell). Wade is predeceased by his parents and by his sister Rosa Schraeder and by his brother Bruce Schraeder.
Wade’s final care has been entrusted to the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, New Liskeard Chapel. Contributions to a charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged. Condolences and memories can be left at www.buffamleveille.com
