Sandra ‘Sandy’ Thelma Laitinen (nee Solsberg) age 91, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2024 in her home in Cobalt, ON.
Sandy is predeceased by her father Benjamin Solsberg, her mother Jesse Tasse, her brothers Ben ‘Buzz’ Solsberg and Wyman Tasse as well as her sisters Christine Coe, Ann North, Doreen Russell, Sonya (Curly) Roy, Lillian Grominsky, Dorothy Tasse, Tina Solsberg and by her son Robert William ‘Skippy’ Laitinen.
Sandy is lovingly remembered by her daughter Susan Laitinen (Ross), by hers sons Don Laitinen (Darlene) and Wyman Laitinen as well as her loving cat Min Min. Sandy will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Robert (Bobby) Beauchamp, Shane Alford, Donnie Laitinen, Christopher Laititnen, Jonathan Laitinen and William Laitinen. Also surviving are her great grandchildren Alexander Laitinen (Xander), Madalyn Laitinen (Maddy), Jesse Beauchamp, Dillan Beauchamp, Alicia Beauchamp, Riley Beauchamp and Marshall Alford. Sandy will also be greatly missed by her sister-in–law Theresa Tasse as well as her nieces and nephews near and far.
As per Sandy’s wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life with family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cobalt Coleman Latchford Food Bank will be greatly appreciated. Condolences and memories can be left at www.buffamleveille.com
