Clara Fay Corville (nee Moore) passed away peacefully in Ottawa on October 6th, 2023 in her 92nd year. She was a remarkable daughter, partner, parent and friend. Predeceased by her beloved parents Clara Belle Moore (nee Johnston) and Leslie Moore and siblings Colleen (Edna), Milton, Patricia Bigelow (Melvin), Norman, Kenneth (Brenda) and survived by a very dear half-sister Lynne Osterberg (Carl). She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband and sweetheart Robert Corville in 2012. Together they were proud parents to six wonderful children; Colleen Roy (Danny deceased 2023); Sharron Morin (Hector); Conrad; Stephen (deceased 2006); Jane Corville Smith (Erroll) and Spencer (Debra deceased 2023). They were further blessed with 13 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as many very cherished nieces and nephews. Fay was loved by all who knew her for her compassion, creativity, words of encouragement, sage advice, quick wit and great sense of humour. Although she will be sadly missed, we take comfort as her children knowing that her love is infinite and the bond that exists between us is eternal. Memorial donations to the Cobalt Latchford and Coleman Area Food Bank will be gratefully appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, Haileybury Location 705-672-3122.
