Tony Douglas Schell, a lifelong resident of Muskoka, Ontario, passed away on October 16, 2024, in Gravenhurst, at the age of 63. Born in Bracebridge, Tony dedicated over 40 years of his life to his craft as a carpenter, leaving an indelible mark through amazing structures he built and the love he poured into every project.
Tony was known not only for his skills with his hands but also for the warmth and joy he brought to his family and friends. He took immense pride in his work, especially in the little house he built for his family, a testament to his craftsmanship and dedication. His ability to create and construct was matched only by his passion for the great outdoors. He delighted in hunting and fishing, often sharing these pursuits with his loved ones.
Tony was the beloved husband of Cindy Pearce, and loving father of Ashley Schell and Erin Matthias. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Laurie Scott (Rob), as well as his nephew Ryan and niece Nicole. A devoted family man, Tony’s greatest joys came from spending time with his grandchildren: Oaklynn, Sophie-Ray, Dakota, Killian, and Enzo. He cherished the moments he made memories with them, whether it was ATVing adventures or trips to dollar stores every week, where he loved to indulge them with little treasures.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife, His legacy of love, creativity, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. As we remember Tony, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by craftsmanship, family devotion, and unwavering passion.
