Willie passed away peacefully at the Mindemoya Hospital on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of Jim Munro.
Loving mother of
Leslie Lemaich of Hamilton,
Anne Clark (Alex) of Grimsby,
Jennifer Munro (Wayne Lewendon) of London
and Melissa Munro (Dave King) of Gore Bay.
Cherished Nana of
Kyle, Laurie (Jeff), Stephanie (JJ), Cassie (Ty), Colleen (Jason), Katie, Rosie (Jon), Ryan (Becca), Nick and Rhea.
Proud great Nana of 8 great grandchildren.
Sister of Stanley (Ada predeceased) Sloan,
John (Evelyn predeceased) Sloan, Murray (Sheila) Sloan, Ken (predeceased), Harold (predeceased), Helen (Max) Hann (both predeceased),
Echo (Ray) McFaul (both predeceased), Jacinthe Sloan,
Elaine (Alvin) Glasby (both predeceased)
and Donelda Sloan (predeceased).
Willie will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
Cremation has taken place.
Family and friends will gather
to celebrate Willie’s life
at Simpson Funeral Home, Gore Bay
on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 1pm-3pm.
