Suddenly, after a brief illness at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich on Friday, July 19, 2024 has passed away.
Douglas Ernest Scarrow of Bayfield in his 72nd year, was the love of his wife Shirley’s (nee Johnston) life for 50 years.
Dear father of Lori Pitt (Steve) of London and Vanessa Phillips (Jamie) of Goderich. Papa of Rebecca, Aiden, Corbin and Cooper. Brother of Jim Scarrow (Agnes) of Seaforth. Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Carmen and Dorothy Scarrow and his brother John Scarrow.
At Doug’s request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 109, 56 Kingston Street, Goderich on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. with remembrances at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Huron Hospice Bender House or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
