It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Karen Leah Carilla Sclisizzi, on Jan 18th 2024 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 21,1949 in Milton Ont.
Loving mother to Jennifer Carilla Watson & son-in-law Sean Watson. Wife to devoted husband Bernardino Carilla, Aunt to Kelton Sclisizzi & friend to Judy Watson. Pre-deceased by her sister Vicki Sclissizi and loving parents Bruno & Margery Sclisizzi.
Karen was rasied in Milton, Ont. lived in the GTA and enjoyed travelling to Ajijic Mexico, to visit her sister and Father who owned Resaturants in the town. Karen also loved to travel to Spain with her husband to visit his family throughout the years.
Karen loved reading & spending time with her family, while enjoying a good meal and the occasional beer. She appreciated the simple things in life like a good cup of coffee and muffin, while reading the newspaper.
She was a gentle & kind soul who loved animals, especially cats, which she had through out her life.
The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to the staff of Extendicare, (Terra Cotta) for taking excellent care of Karen. She enjoyed her time there and spoke caringly of you all.
There will be no service at this time, however a celebration of life will take place at a date in the near future.
