Barry Philip Kaplan Obituary
Kaplan: Barry Philip
1953-2024
Peacefully, surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer, Barry passed away on August 29th 2024. Adored father of Arielle and Jacob (Olivia). Beloved brother of the late Heidi (Abe) Hefter. Son of the late Henry and Leatrice Kaplan. Barry will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephew, cousins, family and friends. Barry touched the lives of others with his kind and gentle soul. His passion for learning, photography, and music served as an inspiration to others.
The family wishes to thank Bonnie Seidman and the multiple medical teams at Kingston General Hospital for their excellent care, as well as those who supported our family through this challenging time. A memorial service will be held at Beth Israel Synagogue (116 Center St. Kingston ON) on Sunday, September 1st, 2024 at 1:00PM.
