Obituary of Ronald Robert LaFlamme
It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Ronald
(Ron) LaFlamme, who left us unexpectedly on October 25, 2024, at the age of 63.
Ron was a remarkable individual whose life was enriched by family, friendship, and a
deep love for music. His boundless compassion and generosity touched the lives of so
many; he was always there when someone needed a helping hand.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Vivian, and their daughter, Tiffany
Kinney (Ryan). Ron cherished his role as a Papa to Jacob (Lexi), Noah, Sammy, and
Blake. He was also a caring brother to Wayne and his sisters, Karen Joncas (Bob) and
Beverly, and a doting uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded by his loving parents, Charles and Lydwin; his sister, Donna
(Gionet); his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Evelyn Glenn; and his
brothers-in-law, William (Billy), Barry, and Bernie.
A dedicated member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 479 in Niagara Falls and
Opry Niagara, Ron made a significant impact in the music community, creating
connections that spanned far and wide. His legacy of family, music and friendship will
forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of life will be held on November 17th, 2024, at 1:00pm at Royal Canadian
Legion Branch 479, 5603 Spring St., Niagara Falls, ON, L2G 1P7.
