HIRTREITER, John Arthur aka “Jack”
Passed away at home on Saturday September 28, 2024 at the age of 84. Loving husband of Annie Jane Hirtreiter. Cherished father of Annie Jane, Juliette Denise, Francine Nicole, and John. Dearly remembered by son in law Marty. Predeceased by his son, Michael, brothers Walter and Ronald and his mother, Eleanor. Doting grandfather and great-grandfather to Turner (Tina) and their son Charlie, Gabriel, Austin, Autumn, Colton, Keegan, Donovan, Jensen, Annie Jade, Jason, Johnathan and Jeremy. John is survived by his sister Margie (Gene) and in laws Josephine (Sam), Mike (MaryAnn), Loretta (Allan) and Vincent (Rose). Dearly remembered by his nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Che and Dr. Scher and John Walpole for their care and compassion. A visitation will commence on Monday October 7th from 11:00-1:00 with a service to follow in the Benner Chapel at 1:00 PM. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory may be made to Sick Kids.
