Hagan; Ellen Marie
Peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at her home in Mississauga, also from Flesherton in her 93rd year. She is reunited with her beloved sons James and Donald and her late husband Allan. Cherished grandmother of Trevor(Jill Masalonga) and the proudest great grandmother of Clara Masalonga-Hagan. She is survived by her daughter in-law Elizabeth Hagan(Lynn Smith). Predeceased by her mother Sadie Abigail and brothers Douglas Martyniuk, his wife Margaret, and William Edward(Bill) Smith and his wife Peggy Smith.
Ellie was an incredibly strong, determined lady, an excellent teacher, Vice Principal then Principal successfully completing her Masters Degree in Education in 1983. She retired from teaching in 1988 joining her brother Doug in business. This opened a new chapter in her life that included the community and friendships on the 8th Concession A.

A private celebration of Ellen’s life has taken place at her farm in Flesherton and she was interred at Maxwell Cemetery with her brother and mother. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the The Feversham Agricultural Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
