February 15, 2024
Passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, on February 15, 2024 at the age of 91. Predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph (1998). Cherished mother of Mathew, Gary, and Andrea. Adored Oma of Bianca, Laura, Katrenia, Zachery, Markus, Nico and two great-grandchildren Lake and Ash. Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Through her work with the Old Mill Restaurant, Erna made many friends, and was a respected face in her community. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) on Monday, February 19th from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, February 20th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. For those who wish, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
