Webster, Edna Mae (nee Burden)
August 5, 1930 – February 3, 2024
Passed away peacefully at the Erie Shores Hospice with her family by her side at 93 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Carl Webster. Youngest daughter of 5 to British Immigrants and during the depression to John (Jack) Burden and Mary Ann Burden (Gates). Daughter-in-law of the late Murray A. Webster and Aletta Webster (Parker). Edna and Carl went on to have 2 children, the late Aletta and the late Kevin; along came 4 grandchildren, Tara-lynn, Tim, Jason, and Holly. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and extended family she considered her own, as well as many nieces and nephews, Beverley, Sharon and an extra special bond with Karen, Pat, and Janet. She was an amazing and loved Nina to Victoria and Bryce; a continuous support of a mother to Tara-lynn.
Edna could be seen running a farm in Maidstone for many years and raising a family. Later in life she worked and devoted her time to Scouts Canada (Es District) where she met many lifelong friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 11 a.m. until time of the service at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
