With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Deb surrounded by the love of her family on June 11, 2024, at 65 years of age. Loving wife of 45 years to Lucien. Loving daughter of Doreen and the late Alvin Grondin. Cherished mother of Jason Paré (Amanda) and Jeff Paré (Megan). Treasured Mémé of Parker, Quinn, Sadie and Jacob.
Dear sister of Rick, Sue Charles (Bill), Patty Donison (Rob), Dan (Esther), Joe (Lana) and Tom (late Amy). Sister-in-law of Pierette (late Julian), late Celine (Norman), Jocelyn (Paul), Marcel (Shirley), Raymond (Suzane), Gislain (Fernard), late Lucienne, Bertrand, André (Marjo), and the late Claude. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Deb was cherished as a loving mémé, mother, and wife for 45 years, dedicated herself to serving others throughout her 34-year tenure as a registered nurse at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Outside of her vocation, she found solace in planting flowers and tending to her garden. An enthusiastic golfer, she proudly clinched numerous Green jackets in family tournaments and found joy in following Brooke Henderson’s career. The Olympics held a special place in her heart, alongside her passion for football, where she demonstrated her prowess by winning various football pools and fantasy leagues. In essence, Deborah epitomized selflessness, devotion to family, and a deep love for the outdoors.
Family and friends are invited to gather and support one another at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A prayer service will take place at 7:30 p.m. Deb will be laid to rest at St. Clements Cemetery at a later date.
