Peacefully at Providence Care Hospital on Friday, October 13, 2023. Roberta Hutchings, age 86 years, beloved wife of Ken Hutchings. Loving mother of Bev and Todd (Janice). Dear grandmother of Kimberly and Ian. Sister of Edythe Bryan, Sylvia Hutchings, Lenore Perras and the late Anne, Deborah, Florence, Thomas, Ruth, Helen and Wray. Roberta loved her family, curling, cooking, gardening and crafts such as quilting, sewing and rug hooking. A dedicated and loving wife for over 62 years, a proud and devoted mother to her two children and two grandchildren and a dear friend to many. Family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at Providence Care and KGH for their excellent care over the past few weeks. Friends may call at the Scotland Funeral Home, Elgin on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 11 am – 1 pm. Funeral service in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment Lillies Baptist Cemetery. Donations to University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Red Cross would be appreciated.
