In Loving Memory of Marion Nadine Pollard (Dixon)
Marion peacefully passed away on May 27, 2024 at Kingston General Hospital. Marion’s journey in this world touched the lives of many, and her warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Marion was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Thomas and Beatrice Dixon, brothers, Duane and Lowell, and her dear sister, Arliss (Berry). Left to honor Marion’s memory are her nieces and nephews, Debbie, Tommy (Wilma), Terry (Carol), Cindy (Catherine), Lisa (John), Dawn (Brian), Dale (Susan), Michelle (Scott) and Laverne (Kelly). Marion held a special place in the hearts of her great nieces and nephew, Simon, Danny, Ryan, Amy and Maklha, and great-great-nieces and nephews Abby, Tess, Carter, Liam and Lennyn. A special thanks to Faye Dennison whose kindness and friendship over the years was greatly appreciated.
We would like to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Helen Henderson Retirement Centre for their dedicated care and support during Marion’s time there. Their kindness and compassion provided comfort and peace to Marion. We are also grateful to the staff at Kingston General Hospital ER and Kidd 10, who extended such great care and compassion to us during Marion’s passing.
As we celebrate the remarkable life of Marion, let us remember the joy she brought to our lives and the lasting impact she made. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her spirit continue to inspire us all.
A graveside service will be conducted by the Reverend Canon Lynn Dillabough of Christ Church Cataraqui at Sandhill Cemetery 4448 Battersea Road, Battersea on Monday, June 3rd at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
