SEWARD; KATHLEEN
Peacefully in her 91st year at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Saturday March 30, 2024 with her family by her side. Kathleen (Chant) Seward of Portland/Elgin. Beloved wife of the late Merwin Seward. Loved mother of Darwin Seward (Wanda) and Rodney Seward. Predeceased by grandson, Steven Seward. Loved by Melanie (Trevor) Sharpe, Jennifer Seward and Jessica Jones Seward. Also loved by Shannon (Adam) McCarthy, Ben (Sonja) and Brandon (Marilla) Seward. Fondly remembered by 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by many nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Norene Burchill. A Graveside Service will be held at Harlem Cemetery at a later date. A special thank you to Kathleen’s niece, Sandra Chant, who was a great support to Kathleen and her family. Thank you to all Kathleen’s numerous friends and family and also the Doctors and Nurses at the Smiths Falls Hospital. Expressions of sympathy and memorial donations can be given to the Harlem Cemetery.
