Phillips: Derek Henry
Peacefully at the Perth Hospital on Sunday January 21, 2024. Derek Phillips of Elgin, in his 51st year. Beloved husband of Angie (Chisamore) Phillips. Loved son of Sally Hughson (Richard Pemberton Smith) of Seeley’s Bay and Wayne Phillips of Mallorytown. Devoted father of Dalton Phillips (Haileigh) of Elgin. Dear brother of Parry Phillips of Kingston. Son-in-law of Connie and Fred Chisamore of Lyndhurst, and brother-in-law of Jeff (Theresa) of Kirkland Lake and Paula Chisamore of Amherstview. Also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. A Celebration of Derek’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 231, 2314 Harlem Road, Portland on Saturday February 17, 2024 from 1 – 4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Lyndhurst Feral Cat Project or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appciated.
