Peacefully at Maple View Lodge, Athens on Sunday February 11, 2024. Carole (Abrams) Johnston of Seeley’s Bay, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Melvyn Johnston. Loving mother of Tammy Johnston and Jackie Baker of Seeley’s Bay, Eric Johnston of Morton, Bart (Gloria) Johnston of Seeley’s Bay and Tina (Mike) Bailey of Joyceville. Predeceased by her brother; Dick Abrams. Fondly remembered by her 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters-in-law; Nancy Abrams and Susan Baxter. The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service in Our Chapel on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Interment Olivet Cemetery, Seeley’s Bay. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Seeley’s Bay United Church would be appreciated.
