At home, with loving family by her side, we sadly announce Eleanor’s passing on Friday, September 20 2024, at the age of 79.
Beloved wife of Ron for over 55 years. Loving mother to Brent and attn: Adam and mother in law to Angela. Loving grandmother to Sophie and Ronan. Dear daughter of the late Gerard and Elizabeth (nee Way) Dillon. Dear sister to Mary Edmunds, the late Geraldine Slack, Ann Marie, Pauline and the late Ambrose Dillon. Eleanor will be deeply missed by many extended family and friends. Special thanks to all of the staff at OTMH Cancer Clinic and the Radiology Department at Credit Valley Hospital. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday October 20th 2024 at the Oakville Conference Centre, 2515 Wyecroft Rd., Oakville from 2 – 4 p.m. For those that wish, donations in her memory may be made to SickKids Hospital in Toronto.
