Obituary
It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved son, brother, father, grandfather and uncle, Liam Vincent Finnegan (June 9, 1966 – October 5, 2023) after a short illness. To Liam, there was nothing better than being in the great outdoors with the people and animals he loved. His beloved Mastiff, Zeus, is missing him and their long rambling walks terribly. His love of nature is evident today in his grown children, Brenndan and Brooke who love it as much as he did. Liam was an amazing guitarist and singer-songwriter and loved the years he spent performing at local venues. May he be singing for his grandparents in Heaven.
He leaves to mourn his children Brenndan Finnegan (Morghan & Torin), Brooke Finnegan (Aaron & Linton), parents, Marie and Kevin Finnegan, sisters, Karen Richard (Wayne, Alyssa & Justin) and Patricia Finnegan (Ryan, Ronin & Declan) and numerous other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from Canada and the UK.
As Liam requested, close family will hold a small service in his memory.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in his name to either The Canadian Liver Foundation or The Canadian Mental Health Association would be greatly appreciated by Liam’s family.
