Death Notice of Dorinda Petty
Dorinda Margaret Petty (nee Shields), of Durham, passed away at Palmerston and District Hospital on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Cliff Petty. Loving mother of Ruth Petty, Sheila Petty, and Beth and her husband Steve Salisbury. Dear sister-in-law of Jim Greguol, Shirley Petty, and Darlene Burns. Predeceased by her in-laws Lauraine Greguol, Edith and Earl Seidel, Roy Petty, and Wayne Petty.
A funeral service will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Monday, September 30th at 1 p.m., with visitation prior to the service from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Cremation to follow with interment of cremated remains at Maplewood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Durham Hospital Foundation or Maplewood Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
