Peacefully, at Hamilton General Hospital, at the age of 72, after a short illness, Patricia passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Devoted mother to children Kari-Lyn (Howie), and Trevor James (Tricia), and very proud grandmother to four grandchildren Kayla, Carter, Ella, and Avery.
Predeceased by her parents Len and Freda Sarson, and two brothers Lenny, and Herb. Survived by sisters Bonnie (Leo), Louanne (Dave), Jenny (Mike), Cheryl (Mike), Joy (predeceased- Dave), Robin (Frank), and Susan (Mark), and many nieces and nephews.
Patricia’s true gift was giving to others. She dedicated over 25 years to Maplecrest Retirement Home and loved every minute of caring for the residents. She was a “Doer” in every sense of the word, getting things done and boy, could she do it all fast! Whether it was baking, cooking, shopping, zipping here or there….no one could keep up with her and she was always on the go. She enjoyed a nice glass of wine pool side, trips to Florida and Black Friday shopping, which was always her kick off to Christmas. She was kind to all those she encountered and will be sadly missed by many.
Thank you to all the outstanding doctors and nurses who cared for her.
Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
