Robin Kunitzky
June 26, 1953 – January 16, 2024
Robin Kunitzky (nee Wilson) passed away peacefully at home on January 16, 2024 with her family present. She is survived by her husband Ralph, daughter Christy, son Scott, and sister Linda, as well as extended family and many great and valued friends. She is predeceased by her parents Joyce and Robert Wilson.
Robin avidly enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found hiking in nature, downhill skiing, walking trails with friends, tending to her garden, reading a good book on the deck, or playing a game of tennis or pickleball. She was a contributor to her community who often brought others together for card games, gatherings, and tennis tournaments.
After receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis in the spring of 2022, she fought to enjoy life to its fullest with an insistent positivity and unparalleled determination. She remained active for as long as she was able and even continued to water her flowers almost daily.
She will be missed by the many who love her and appreciated her ability to care for those around her.
A celebration of life will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Collingwood General & Marine Hospital, and Hospice Georgian Triangle in her name.
