It is with a mixture of great sadness and some relief that we announce the death of Norman Ronald Stokes on October 27, 2023 at Campbell House Hospice Collingwood.
Norman is survived by his loving wife Joyce, and children Mark (Julie), Helen, Paul (Cathy), and grandchildren Christopher, Jessica, Jack, and Isabel.
Norman was born in London, England, and moved his family to Canada in 1982. He worked in I.T. for CIBC, enjoying the trips to the Caribbean that his work required and retired at the age of 65. A train enthusiast and avid woodworker, he spent much of his time creating model railways for himself, and furniture for his family. In lieu of flowers, donates may be made to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House.
