Lorraine Elizabeth Carnegie (nee Lemon) –
Passed away peacefully at Campbell House Hospice on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 in her 85th year. Lorraine was the loving and devoted wife for 65 years of the late Ronald Carnegie. Cherished mother of Ron Carnegie (Darlene), the late Randy Carnegie, (the late Margaret), the late Wayne Carnegie, Dennis Carnegie (Sini), Kevin Carnegie (Cindy), Lorrie Robinson (Rob) and the late Darren Carnegie (Jackie). Treasured grandmother of Nicole, Ronnie, Jesse, Alex, James, Sarah, Teghan, Aaron, Randy, the late Cheri, Dakota, Brittnay and her 12 great grandchildren. She will also be remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Lorraine always enjoyed it when her family and friends would drop in to visit, she always made you feel welcome. Family was an important part of her life, she will be missed by all. She enjoyed the challenge of suduko puzzles, painting, crocheting blankets, sing and watch vision tv. The family is grateful to the nursing staff and volunteers at Campbell House Hospice, for the amazing care and support provided during mom’s short stay there.
Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Hospice Georgian Triangle – Campbell House would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Affordable Cremation Services. www.affordablecremation.ca
