Castator, Edward Kelvir Erson (Ted)
After a valiant and hard fought battle with cancer Ted passed away on Monday September 30th, 2024 at Collingwood General Marine Hospital with his loving family at his side.
Ted of Wasaga Beach was the beloved best friend and husband of Debbie (née Hutchison) for 41 years. Loving father of Cameron (Krista) cherished and adoring Poppa of Addison and Aislynn. Lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Bev and all his nephews, nieces, extended family and dear friends.
Ted will always be remembered for his quick wit, humour, hardy laugh and love for his family. Always someone you could count on for helping you with anything and would drop whatever he was doing to do it. His expertise in mechanics and building structures was second to none. Everyone close to him will always remember him for his baking of the best tea biscuits (Teddy Biscuits)
At Ted’s request cremation has taken place. In memory of Ted donations to the Hudson Regional Cancer Centre at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
